Recent work moves between media on purpose. Bliksem (2026), an autobiographical documentary with Rinkel Film, premiered on NPO 2. THIS IS NOT A TRANSFORMATION STORY (2025) was a solo installation at MeetFactory in Prague. Paper Cuts (2026), supported by The Culture Fund, works with queer migrants in Utrecht. Capas rotas / Capa Rota grew from a residency at Proyecto'ACE in Buenos Aires into a solo exhibition at Bibliotheek Neude in Utrecht.
Earlier films include Khata (2019), the Dutch submission for the International Emmy Awards, and Teekay, the Summersault King (2024). His Stimuleringsfonds research Frictie als vorm (2026-2027) continues the same inquiry in digital culture.
He co-founded PlusWhat, a peer-driven talent programme that professionalises self-taught young makers (TEDx Education Award 2018/2019), and is co-founder of Stichting wedowe.
Selected recognition: Berlinale Talents 2024; CODEDI Person of the Year 2020; Khata longlisted for the Golden Calf and nominated for Rockie and TV Iris awards.
